In the interview, Kaneswaran describes the album as “a bit of a rollercoaster”, claiming “there was a lot of pressure from everyone to release music.”

For the album, the band collaborated with Justin Bieber and Rita Ora. “We wrote with Justin and Rita… in regards to our sound right now and the album, they weren’t right.” However, Kaneswaran is taking a leaf from Bieber’s book and isn’t saying ‘never’ on releasing these tunes. “We still have them and we can still use them and put them out at the right time.”

After achieving international success, the band signed up for a reality TV Show. The Wanted Life can now be seen on E! About the filming of the show, Siva commented: “They followed us around for two months and it was extreme and quite stressful… It was a very different experience.”While the show is in talks for a second season, the singer has a very positive outlook on things: “If we get it, we get it, but if we don’t, we had a laugh in the first season… We’ve got some amazing songs to release and that’s what we’re really focussing on.”

Siva also opened up about online abuse: “The negative can upset, but there’s so much positive and so many great people out there…”

The band’s first single, “We Own The Night” was released simultaneously worldwide after the group announced that the album would be released on Septermber 23.
