Dominic West is set to put his singing skills to the test in upcoming film Pride.
Pride is set during the miner strikes of the 1980s and follows a group of gay and lesbian activists who join pit workers in the walkouts.
The Wire actor recently told British tabloid The Daily Mail that he plays “a gay guy who sings ‘I Will Survive’ in front of a group of Welsh mine workers”. He later referenced his musical debut in My Fair Lady in his hometown of Sheffield last year, saying, “Now I just can’t stop singing”.
West has also recently announced he is to trek 208 miles to the South Pole alongside Prince Harry later this year.
