Cory Monteith’s cop drama McCanick, the Glee actor’s final project before his untimely death, will premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival in September alongside his penultimate project, All The Wrong Reasons.

All The Wrong Reasons
, written and directed by Gia Milani, sees Cory playing a store manager whose wife struggles with post-traumatic stress disorder.

In a sadly ironic twist, Monteith played a drug addict in his final film. The brand new still released today (above) shows a nearly unrecognizable Montheith in McCanick. The film is about the drug addict, named Simon Weeks, who is in jail for murder. He gets out on parole and the detective who originally got him convicted – the eponymous McCanick – is hell-bent on hunting Weeks down.

McCanick ‘s world premiere will take place during the festival, which runs from September 5th to 15th. You can watch a new clip from the film below.
