Shortly before the world received the shocking news of Cory Monteith’s untimely death in July, the Glee actor had filmed two movies.
In the just released trailer for McCanick, Cory portrays a “drug-addled” criminal being hunted by two detectives (David Morse and Mike Vogel). The film also includes Irish actor, Ciarán Hinds and TV vet Rachel Nichols (Continuum, Alias).
Some might say that this role had Cory in an “art imitating life situation”, as he battled the demons of his own drug addiction in his own life.
McCanick will premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival along with his other film, All The Wrong Reasons.
