Swedish DJ, remixer and record producer, Avicii, recently released “You Make Me” which is the second track of his debut album, True, which drops on September 23.
Promising an eclectic feel with a variety of genres, Avicii revealed he had done a “disco” style track with Nile Rodgers and American Idol alum and glam rocker, Adam Lambert.
The trio teamed up just last night to debut their new song, “Lay Me Down,” at the All For The East End fundraiser which is hosted by Rodgers and “raises awareness of the work carried out by charities working in the East End of Long Island,” according to Digital Spy.
After the show the DJ and Lambert took to their twitters:
Avicii tweeted: “So happy to be a part of such a great cause! Thanks @nilerodgers for havin me, and great to finally meet @adamlambert.”
Followed by Adam who said, “Wow! Had an amazing time performing alongside @nilerodgers, Chic and heard our new tune spun loud by @Avicii “LAY ME DOWN”!”
