It looks like a little mermaid may be headed to NBC.
The yet to be titled series from “Sex and the City writer/producer Jenny Bicks landed at NBC after attracting attention from several other networks,” according to Deadline.
The show, which is currently working on a pilot, follows a mermaid who is bartending in Miami bar and feels like a “fish out of water” until she finds some friends amongst a group of eclectic social misfits.
“Bicks recently served as showrunner on Showtime’s Laura Linney series The Big C and created ABC’s Men In Trees, in addition to writing 16 Sex and the City episodes,” according to Digital Spy. That’s what we call multi-talented!
Stay tuned for this and other new shows heading to airwaves this fall!
