An all-star Video Music Awards ceremony is coming our way this Sunday, August 25th.
Lady Gaga is set to open the award show with a much-hyped performance of her new single “Applause”, paving the way for lots of explosive performances from Justin Timberlake, Miley Cyrus and more.
Last but not least, Katy Perry will also perform with her latest single “Roar” at the end of the ceremony, and will also debut a new song from her upcoming album Prism, in a partnership with Pepsi.
The company launched a Twitter contest in which fans who help trend #KATYNOW will get new clues on two new tracks from the album.
Also, these two new tracks will be streamed on August 24th, and fans will have the chance to vote which song would they like to be released (and performed, presumably) earlier.
