Olivia Munn who was known for her role as Sloan Sabbith in the show The Newsroom is in talks to star alongside Johnny Depp in the upcoming movie Mortdecai.
The role is unannounced as of right now. The movie is an adaptation of Kyril Bonfiglioli’s book. The film is based on the fourth book in Bonfiglioli’s well-read series The Great Mordecai Mustache Mystery. It tracks an artwork merchant who is on a an assignment to find a hidden bank account that is full with Natzi gold.
Gwyneth Paltrow and Ewan McGregor are supporting cast members in the movie. Munn
has also been on the big screen in The Babymakers and the hit film Magic Mike.
The Great Mordecai Mustache Mystery was finished by Craig Brownafter Bonfiglioli’s death.
The book was released in 1996.
