It appears that Christopher Nolan is no longer involved with the new Superman vs Batman.
The confusion came when Nolan and wife Emma Thomas weren’t listed on the press release for the Man of Steel sequel. They were producers for the first Man Of Steel movie.
The Playlist saw that the pair’s names were “conspicuously absent.”
Box Office Mojo’s Ray Subers tweeted, however, “@ThePlaylist On Friday WB told me the Nolans were still EPs.”
Nolan is also working on a sci-fi movie Instellar, starring Matthew McConaughey, Jessica Chastain, Michael Craine and Anne Hathaway and is set for a November 2014 release.
The new Superman movie is being directed by Zack Snyder. It centers around Superman (Henry Cavill) meeting Batman with hopefully a lot of epic fights.
Ben Affleck was recently announced to be playing Batman, replacing Christian Bale from Nolan’s Dark Knight trilogy.
Superman vs Batman is set to be released July 17, 2015.
