Treme‘s star Michiel Huisman is the newest addition to the Game of Thrones family.
The dutch actor will join season four and even though his role in the series is being kept in secret, rumour has it he could be playing Styr, Magnar of Thenn.
Season four of Game of Thrones is said to be based on the latter half of the third “A Son of Ice and Fire” books called “A Storm of Swords”.
WinterIsComing.net was the first to share the news after actor and fitness pro Aaron Williamson posted a picture on Instagram showing Michiel working out in preparation for his upcoming role: “1 more week w/Michiel Huisman getting him ready to kick ass on Game of Thrones. Proud of this guy’s dedication; huge transformation from his Treme days”, Williamson wrote.
Other works in Huisman’s list are World War Z and as Liam on ABC’s Nashville.
Also joining the upcoming season of Game of Thrones are Sherlock ’s Mark Gatiss and Indira Varma.
Game of Thrones returns in 2014 on HBO.
