It’s time to grab your cowboy hat, check in with star command, make sure your eyes are in place and practise your dinosaur roar – the Toy Story gang are back for Toy Story Of Terror!

The spooky Halloween special is coming to a TV near you this October, and Entertainment Weekly have unveiled an exclusive promotional image, featuring the leaders of Andy’s toys, Woody, Jessie and Buzz Lightyear.

In an official synopsis from the Animation World Network, we are told that in Pixar’s first ‘half-hour’ special, “what starts out as a fun road trip for the Toy Story gang takes an unexpected turn for the worse when the trip detours to a roadside motel. After one of the toys goes missing, the others find themselves caught up in a mysterious sequence of events that must be solved before they all suffer the same fate in this Toy Story Of Terror” Sounds scary!

Alongside Woody, Jessie and Buzz, Mr. Potato Head and Rex are also set to appear in the show, as well as new to Toy Story 3 characters Mr. Pricklepants and Trixie.

Those lucky enough to attend this year’s D23 Expo were treated to the first 10 minutes of the Angus MacLane-directed special, but the rest of us will have to wait for our next Toy Story feature until October 16 when it will air on ABC at 8pm EST. Can’t wait.
