British actor and singer Sean Maguire (Meet the Spartans, Krod Mandoon) recently grabbed the role of Robin Hood in hit series Once Upon a Time.
Maguire’s role was announced to be recurring. Welsh actor Tom Ellis was originally casted as Robin, but was unable to fit the role into his schedule.
As show in the stills from Entertainment Weekly, Maguire is shown on the green-screen filming set with fellow cast members Michael Raymond-James (Neil) and Jamie Chung (Mulan).
Several other characters were casted in the show as well, such as Ariel (JoAnna Garcia Swisher). Emma, Neil, Snow, Rumple, Regina, and Charming have also been announced as recurring characters in the season.
Season 3 of Once Upon a Time premieres Sunday, September 29th.
