Marvel’s Ant-Man Bumped To a Summer 2015 Release Date

Never before has Ant-Man been seen on screen, despite the character’s comic debut being in 1962. However bosses have now announced the movie has been moved from 6th November 2015 to a 31st July 2015 release date.

This is great news for anyone who loves superhero style films; with the Batman vs. Superman film being released on the 17th of July, and the other 2015 Marvel movie, Avengers: Age of Ultron, being released on May 1st.

Even though it has to contend with the big summer films, by moving the release date up, Ant-Man manages to avoid the massive box office films for the year: Bond 24 and The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part II.

Comic Con 2012 hosted the eagerly anticipated initial trial footage of the film, where the superhero has the ability to change his subatomic particles to allow him to change size at will.

Director Edgar Wright may have his work cut out to contend with those summer films, but if he pulls it off, 2015 could easily be the best summer for films to date.
