Last month, Taylor Swift and Jennifer Lopez performed together at Swift’s concert at the Staples Centre. Now rumours are floating around about a collaboration for J.Lo’s new album.
However, Swift recently told E! News that would be premature: “We haven’t spoken further about ever collaborating, but I did read that on the internet. So that’s nice to know, that’s always accurate”.
Maybe not now, but maybe in the future! Taylor is open to the idea: “I mean, for me, I love her, she’s amazing. She has my number, we text, but we haven’t texted about going into the studio”, she added. Some of Taylor’s past collaborations include The Civil Wars (“Safe & Sound”, written for The Hunger Games soundtrack), Ed Sheeran and B.o.B, while JLo has collaborated with LL Cool J, Pitbull and Carlos Santana (among many others!).
Jennifer Lopez will soon return to American Idol for the 13th season, while Taylor Swift is working on new music. So it looks like any duet will have to wait.
