Multiple sources including CNN, Us Weekly and USA Today have confirmed that nine-time Grammy-winning singer John Legend has married his longtime girlfriend Sports Illustrated model Chrissy Teigen. The happy couple exchanged vows in Lake Como, Italy.
Family and friends surrounded Mr. and Mrs. John Legend on their special day. Famous attendees included frequent collaborator Kanye West and music legends Quincy Jones and Stevie Wonder. Actress and fellow model Brooklyn Decker was also on hand to be part of the bridal party as Maid of Honor while Biz Markie deejayed the reception.
Among the highlights of the night included Stevie Wonder’s duet with the groom to “Ribbon on the Sky” and the “If You’re Out There” singer’s special serenade to his bride, “All of Me,” the hit single from Legend’s latest album: Love in the Future.
“He writes a lot of love songs, but this one is specifically about me, so it makes it so special.” The bride told People.
The couple started dating in 2007 and Us Weekly received news via Legend’s press agent that the R&B crooner popped the question during a vacation in 2011.
