Few days ago, Digital Spy shared the news of this relief app with their readers. Let your worries be solved with Google Chrome’s new extension called “No Cyrus” which literally means that no more Miley Cyrus, nor the likes of her, will be on your screen.
Simply put, any mention of the following words will be censored with hashtag symbols, ####.
- Miley Cyrus
- Miley Ray Cyrus
- Twerk / Twerking
- MileyCyrus
- Wrecking Ball
That’s not all though. Due to popular demand, developer Chris Horris has also filtered out “Kim Kardashian” and “Kardashian”.
Since when did Miley Cyrus get so much hate? Ever since the VMAs where Miley Cyrus got the opportunity to make history by twerking to Robin Thicke’s “Blurred Lines”. The discussion is never ending; everyone seems to always have a say about her, and her name constantly seems to be the top trending topic of the week. The VMA performance wasn’t the end for Miley’s inappropriate acts though. Shortly after, Miley released a music video for her song “Wrecking Ball” which has also stirred up a lot of discussion.
