It looks like The Hunger Games and American Horror Story are joining forces (well not really). Lily Rabe known for starring in AHS is set to star in Mockingjay, Parts 1 and 2. She will be portraying Commander Lyme in the final two films of the series.
Julianne Moore has also been cast as President Coin, and will join Evan Ross and Stef Dawson who have both recently signed on as well. Natalie Dormer known for her role as Margarey Tyrell in HBO’s Game of Thrones is also set to star in Mockingjay.
Are you wondering when Mockingjay releases into theaters? Fear not as Part 1 is set to release November 21st, 2014 and Part 2 will release the following year on November 20th, 2015. The movie is being directed by Francis Lawrence.
Besides that, Catching Fire the second film of the series is set to have its worldwide premiere in London on November 11th. The movie then releases everywhere on November 22nd.
