Once Upon a Time In Wonderland has cast their Caterpillar… and it’s not The Who’s Roger Daltrey. But do not despair rock fans, Daltrey has been replaced by another musical genius. Entertainment Weekly has announced that the dulcet tones of the Caterpillar will be voiced by none other than Iggy Pop!
Daltrey, who voiced the Caterpillar in an earlier episode of Once Upon a Time, was unavailable for the filming of the spinoff series, so Iggy Pop has stepped in to voice the hookah-smoking insect.
Once Upon A Time fans will be able to keep up with the original series, and watch Once Upon A Time In Wonderland as well, as the shows will carry crossovers that link both series. Entertainment Weekly reports that Wonderland viewers can expect John Lithgow to voice the White Rabbit, and Keith David as the Cheshire Cat.
Wonderland will premiere on October 10th.
