Naya Rivea has recently sat down with Access Hollywood to talk about working with her friend on the set and how they warm up for romantic scenes.

She said about Lovato: “She’s awesome and we’re having a blast and we’re so happy to have her.”

On how she and Lovato got comfortable with the romance scenes, River revealed that the two of them “warmed up” together. With a laugh, Rivera said: “I made out with her, like, in my trailer before we shot the scene. So then I just, like, warmed her up. You know what I’m saying?”

That is certainly one way to get warmed up.

Lovato will play Dani, a waitress/starving artist who works with Rachel and Santana in a diner. She will appear in a six-episode guest arc of season five.  Lovato has said that she is proud of her character on the show.

She said: “It’s becoming the norm and I’m really glad that I get to represent that – how far we’ve come.”

Are you excited about the Dantana romance on season five?
