The Huffington Post has revealed that Kristen Bell will make her debut on Parks and Recreation in an episode called “The Pawnee-Eagleton Tip Off Classic.”
Bell will play Ingrid de Forest, who is a snooty City Councilwoman from Eagleton. She will meet Leslie Knope (Amy Poehler) at the annual Pawnee-Eagleton high school basketball game. The shows executive producer Michael Schur told Entertainment Weekly about Bell’s character, “She’s Leslie’s equivalent, but richer and better dressed.”
A first look at Bell’s appearance was revealed in photos that were released today. One picture shows the two ladies having a meeting with Ben Wyatt (Adam Scott) and Chris Traeger (Rob Lowe). Another picture shows Kristen Bell and Amy Poehler standing on a podium for what looks like a press conference.
Parks and Recreation season 6 premieres on Sept 26th at 8:00 p.m. on NBC; with a one-hour premiere set in London with Heidi Klum appearing as the mayor of a small town in Denmark. Kristen will appear in the third episode on the series, which will air Oct. 3rd.
