Mad Men‘s Elisabeth Moss sets the record straight on the Red Carpet at the 65th Emmy Awards last night. Contrary to popular belief, her hair was not a copy of Miley Cyrus’, it was actually the other way round.
When Moss donned her short hairstyle, Miley hadn’t even had hers cut yet. In fact, it was a mere week later that she got the style we are all so accustomed to now.
She wanted to clear up the issue as she said to E!’s Giuliana Rancic on the red carpet, “she is way more famous than I am so then everyone was like, ‘It’s the Miley Cyrus!” She also added that she hasn’t, nor has the intention to, twerk anytime soon. “I don’t know what this thing is. People keep saying this to me and I don’t know what it is!”
Moss was nominated for two Emmys last night, one for her role on TV mini-series Top of The Lake and the other for AMC’s Mad Men.
Despite being a double nominee, Moss cannot believe her success, saying “I haven’t gotten used to it. I don’t know if anyone is going to believe me on that, but it really is something I can’t get used to.”
