Dianna Agron Goes From Glee To Mob Bosses And The Pretenders

Dianna Agron fans rejoice! It looks like Agron has been cast in the upcoming film Pretenders. Writer/director of the film, Josh Boone, announced the news of her casting on his Twitter and Tumblr accounts today. Boone is currently filming the highly anticipated adaptation of John Green’s book, The Fault in Our Stars.

She will be joining Michael B. Jordan (Fruitvale Station), Anton Yelchin (Charlie Bartlett), and Imogen Poots (Are we officially dating?) on the film.

While there’s not much known about the film so far, UpandComers.net got an exclusive interview with Jordan back at the Cannes Film Festival in May where he spoke about the project. “It’s a love triangle, set in the early 80s about a photographer, director and actress and their relationship and how it intertwines over time and a lot of lies, deceit, best friends going behind their backs.” Jordan compared the film to Ted Demme’s 2001 film, Blow.

Best known for playing Glee’s resident head bitch cheerleader, Quinn Fabray, she has recently been receiving critical acclaim for her role as the daughter of a mob boss in The Family. It’s unknown what role she’ll be playing in Pretenders, but we can’t wait to see what’s next for Ms. Agron.
