We’ve been hearing about the pair in the news more and more lately and this weekend seems to be all about Katy Perry praising John Mayer’s talent.
Her new track, “Roar” might be the biggest song on the planet right now, but our Katycat Queen has given boyfriend John Mayer the “genius” title.
“He literally is a genius, as evident from his songwriting. I always tell him, ‘Darling, you know I’m going to have to give your mind to science after you’ve passed, because we’re going to have to understand how all these sparks work,’” Perry told Billboard.
The star-studded couple recorded a duet for Mayer’s most recent album, Paradise Valley and Perry is busy prepping her upcoming third album, Prism, for release next month.
Prism’s, “Roar,” went straight to number one in both the UK and US so we’re fairly sure the full album will be a smash hit as well!
