Rachel Leigh Cook, who is known for her infamous role in the teen romance flick She’s All That, has just given birth to a baby girl! The father of the child and Cook’s husband, The Originals star Daniel Gilles, sent out a tweet about the happy welcome of their baby girl, calling her “the tiny new empress of my everything”:

Earlier reports from Digital Spy and other sources reported that she’d had a baby boy, but this news turned out to be false as we’ve now learned that she’s welcomed a daughter.
Cook didn’t reveal the news of her pregnancy until earlier this year. She, and husband Daniel Gillies, who got hitched back in 2004, have only one child together and this baby boy is the first. Cook said that she felt that “now was the right time to have a baby.” The 33 year old actress has also been seen on the TBS series, Perception.
Next up for Cook, is the film Red Sky, directed by Mario Van Peebles, which will be out later this year.
