It has been reported that the infamous British boy band One Direction intend to record their fourth album whilst on their 2014 stadium tour. How, you ask? In a mobile recording studio of course!

Harry, Louis, Liam, Niall and Zayn don’t want to interrupt their tour schedule, so seem to have decided to do both at the same time, The Sun reports.

The highly anticipated third album will be released in the UK on November 25th and the following day in the US. Midnight Memories is to be more ‘retro’ than the previous two albums, Liam Payne said in a recent interview, “The new word today for that album is retro…it is retro. You’ll see when some of the songs come out. Three or four of the tracks are quite retro.”

Judging by the release date, their third studio album could be a strong contender for the number 1 Christmas Album.

As well as their tour, One Direction have reportedly just signed a new, £50 million, contract with Simon Cowell’s management company Syco.

The Where We Are Tour is set to begin on 24th May 2014 in Northern Ireland.
