Diablo Cody is working again. The writer who penned movie Jennifer’s Body has created Paradise. The movie stars Julianne Hough, Russell Brand and Octavia Spencer.
The very first clip shows Lamb Mannnerheim (Julianne Hough) trying her very first alcoholic beverage compliments of Russell Brand’s bartender.
The second clip stars Octavia Spencer (The Help), who is complaining about the fact that she has been made into a racist plot device.
The film is about Hough’s character, who lives “the good Christian life” in a small town somewhere in Montana. After an accident that almost takes her life, she heads out to Las Vegas in order to learn how to really start enjoying her life. The film also stars Holly Hunter (Living Out Loud) & Nick Offerman.
Paradise comes out on October 18th in the U.S, and a UK release date has yet to be announced.
