The anticipation continues to heighten for American Horror Story fans!
With the new season of American Horror Story: Coven just around the corner, fans of Ryan Murphy’s hit show are being enticed by the release of promotional teaser trailers. While the newest trailers are both only 11 seconds long, they both give indications of this seasons latest theme of witches.
The first trailer called “Black Hat” shows a group of women walking together all wearing the same thing: white long-sleeved blouses, black skirts, black hats, and black high heels.

The second entitled “Standing” simply shows a group of desks before flashing to an image of women in high heels standing on the desks. The clip then flashes again before showing the women in the act of standing on top of the desks.

With coven meaning a gathering a witches, perhaps this is the coven we will meet during the season. Perhaps the two trailers are hinting at the witches coming together and making a stand for themselves.
These trailers are the latest in what seems a long line of teaser trailers which have been released all summer.
American Horror Story:Coven will premiere Oct. 9 at 10/9C on FX.
