Accomplished actress Ming-Na Wen, who is now staring in the mega-hit Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D recently spoke with TV Guide about Marvel secrets, stunts, Mulan, and playing no-nonsense pilot Melinda May.
In the interview, Wen discusses how hard it is for her and the cast to keep the Marvel secrets at bay. With the king of the nerds Joss Whedon at the helm, the realm of pop culture wants to know anything and everything about the show. When approached by friends, Wen jokes that she is often asked, “So what are you doing on the show?” And I’ll say, “Oh…you know…I’m doing acting…and, uh… stunts.”
Wen discusses being a Marvel fan and states that she has “been wanting to ask Joss Whedon if he’ll sign my DVD of The Avengers”. Awesome! Ming-Na Wen is a fangirl just like the rest of us. I mean come on…if you were working with Joss Whedon wouldn’t you ask for an autograph?
