The Glee episode every fan has been waiting for since the ill-fated news of Cory Monteith’s death rocked our fandom this July is upon us. Next week, Ryan Murphy and company have crafted an emotional tribute to the late star and his character, Finn Hudson. Very few details have emerged regarding the storyline, but, as we previously reported, the episode’s tear-jerking song list has been revealed. Seriously, you are gonna want to grab every box of tissues your local grocery store carries for this one, folks.
After tonight’s second Beatles installment, the official TV promo for next week’s “The Quarterback” episode hit the web. “The hardest word to say…is goodbye,” the somber words faded onto the screen. Meanwhile, the cast is seen kneeling before a marvelously glowing shrine to pay tribute to their dear friend (I mean, seriously, are you crying yet?!). Rachel — played by the incredibly talent and brave Lea Michele — croons on “Make You Feel My Love” as clips of all of our favorite characters find their own way of coping with tragedy.
Set your DVRs, Gleeks. October 10, 2013…the day our hearts are ripped from our chests…again.
