The new trailer has been unveiled for E4’s comedy-drama, Misfits. This reveal is bittersweet considering this is also Misfits’ final season. However, there is a smidgen of hope considering the recent reports of a possible Misfits movie.
Though only 20-seconds long, the promo teases us with some quick action sequences we can expect to see in the upcoming season. It’s lighting and pacing alludes to the storm that gave all the community service-doing youngsters powers.

Digital Spy reports that the season will pan out over eight 60-minute episodes, and will see the return of characters Rudy (Joseph Gilgun), Alex (Matt Stokoe), Finn (Nathan McMullen), Jess (Karla Crome), and Abby (Natasha O’Keeffe).
Channel 4’s drama commissioning editor, Roberto Troni, has described the show as “one final glorious ride” in the past. He said, “[Creator] Howard [Overman] and co have some BIG plans for the last series. Like the characters in the show, it won’t be going quietly.”
