Thundercats Ho! James McAvoy Feels The Time Is Right For A Thundercats Revival

For children of the 1980’s, like myself, Saturday morning TV was not the same without our weekly Thundercats episode – and I still find myself wishing that Lion-O and Snarf would make their cartoon comeback.  Well it appears I am not the only one who feels this way.

British actor and star of X-Man: First Class James McAvoy also wants to see a Thundercats revival. In an interview with Total Film, the 34-year-old star said that although he would love to see the X-Men team up with the feline Superheroes, he would much rather have the opportunity to play the fearless leader Lion-O.

I need this to happen; I would be the first in line for that movie.  However, I feel that a live action reboot could be problematic, so I would be happy for an animated film with the lovely Mr. McAvoy voicing the leader of the Thundercats, helping bring Thundera back to life.
