Halle Berry’s been a busy woman lately!
In July, Halle married Olivier Martinez; recently, she’s been fighting to get an anti-paparazzi bill passed; this week, she was just announced to be the lead in Steven Spielberg’s upcoming CBS drama Extant; and she has now given birth! E! News has confirmed that Halle gave birth to her second child today at Cedars Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles.
Reps for the couple announced the pregnancy in April, saying, “We can confirm that Halle Berry and Olivier Martinez are expecting a child. We will not be commenting on or confirming any additional details.”
In June, Martinez announced the couple was having a boy. He said, “My son will remain an American, but I will remain French. I remain a Frenchman in America, but I adapt to American culture. I feel good there—but I’m still a foreigner. My son will be an American.”
This is Halle’s second child. In 2008, she gave birth to daughter Nahla. This is Martinez’s first child.
