The collective fanbase of one very special lady squealed with joy this weekend as she announced her engagement to partner, Bridgett Casteen on Twitter.
The lady in question is, of course, Dot-Marie Jones – a star on Glee who has earned three Emmy nominations playing the Gleek favourite, Shannon Beiste.
“It’s the best job I’ve had in my life,” she said at the opening for Michael Jackson ONE in Las Vegas last month.
It sounds like Ms Jones is having a pretty terrific year so far! She proposed to her now fiance on Friday October 4, overlooking the Sleeping Beauty Castle while visiting Disneyland.
“I never thought I’d find somebody that is so loving and kind,” she told The Advocate this week. It was “the happiest day of my life.”
This will be Dot-Marie Jones’s first marriage and all of us here at PopWrapped could not be more excited for her.
We hope the couple enjoy many happy years together and we look forward (through misty eyes) to seeing Dot as Shannon Beiste in Glee’s memorial episode, “The Quarterback”, this Thursday.
