Brad Garrett, who recently starred in the short-lived series How to Live with Your Parents (for the Rest of Your Life), will be starring in the upcoming series When the Ball Drops.
The series is based on his upcoming autobiography, which focuses on being a divorced, middle-aged man balancing his professional and personal lives.
ABC will be developing the pilot, with Garrett and Chuck Tatham serving as executive producers. Eryn Brown and Meghan Lyvers are to produce the series.
Garrett recently signed a talent holding deal with 20th Century Fox, so if this series does not get picked up, we’ll be seeing news of Garrett headlining another pilot.
Garrett won three Emmy’s for his role as Robert Barone on the CBS’s successful series Everybody Loves Raymond, and has been nominated for three additional Emmy’s. He has recently appeared in the films Planes and The Incredible Burt Wonderstone.
