Some news we weren’t expecting today, was that of famous pop trio, The Jonas Brothers, cancelling their tour just two days before it was due to kick off, Friday (11th Oct).

The three brothers had taken time out from the band in 2010 with Joe releasing solo music, Nick getting involved in more theatre and TV and oldest brother Kevin continuing with his reality series, Married To Jonas.

The boys then reunited with a fifth album, titled V’- the roman numerals for five, i.e. their fifth album, which is due for release this fall. The band were also due to go on tour starting this Friday, but today, it has been revealed the tour has been cancelled. This news has been confirmed by People Magazine.

According to spokesman for the band, Jesse Derris, “there was a big disagreement over their music direction”. To cancel a 19-date tour over, this must have been a pretty big disagreement, as the band looked in good spirits the past few times they’ve been together publicly.

What does this mean for the group? They’ve still got their fifth album due for release and as you can imagine, internet sites have already started to speculate a break-up! However, at this time nothing is confirmed apart from the cancelled tour. Ticket-holders are being told a refund will be given.

Let us know your thoughts on the news, were you meant to see the JoBros on their tour? Are you surprised? What do YOU think this means for the trio?
