Ever get to the end of a television show’s episode and just wish there was more? Well fans of Showtime’s Homeland, need wish no more as a bonus audio story is to follow this Sunday’s episode.
The half-hour supplement will be narrated by Damian Lewis (Nicholas Brody) and will be available for free, exclusively for Audible. The audio’s story will tie into the plot of the October 13 episode.
In a statement, Lewis revealed that, “the Audible Homeland story has allowed my character, Nick Brody, to forge a more intimate and personal connection with the show’s fans, adding additional layers and depth to the plot points unveiled this season.”
Depending on the success of the Audible track, it appears that there may be more to come from the Homeland team. Fox Consumer Products executive of global sales and retail, Roz Nowicki, described the purpose of the release, saying: “With the new season of Homeland in full swing, strategically it is important to explore new mediums and methods of reaching our consumers which includes the large fanbase of the show.”
Homeland season 3 is currently screening on the US’ Showtime, Channel 4 in the UK and Channel 10 in Australia.
