The 2011 winners of X-factor UK, Little Mix, have released artwork for their latest single “Move” which is set to be released November 3rd. Their sophomore album Salute is set to be released just a week later on November 11th.
While the single isn’t available to buy just yet you are able to listen to the single as it’s audio has already been released on their VEVO account. You can check out the audio below.
The ladies have recently spoken out about their latest single saying that it definitely takes a few listens since it’s a departure from the music their fans may be used to hearing from them.
“It’s so quirky and different. I’d definitely say we’ve gone a bit cooler” said Little Mix’s Jade Thirlwall “I love the structure of it – it’s so different that it means you have to listen to it a few times to get your head around it.”
Band member, Leigh-Anne Pinnock makes sure the fans know that Little Mix is all about taking risks.
“I don’t think we’d be Little Mix if we didn’t take a risk. When ‘Wings’ came out there was nothing else like it at the time – it was something a bit different – and we like doing that. It’s about finding our sound and having fun with it.”
So what can you expect from the new album Salute? According to Thrilwall it’s about widening the Little Mix fan base as much as they can.
While the band is still trying to bring in more fans with their new album, their current fans will be happy to know they are set to battle it out for Best British Group at the BBC Radio 1 Teen Awards this November.
