Marvel is already planning total TV domination, and they have been a major presence on the silver screen for years. That presence will continue with Marvel’s Ant-Man project due out in 2015.
There have been some rumors regarding the casting for the pint sized hero. Paul Rudd and Joseph Gordon-Levitt have both been tossed around in the media, and Joseph is now speaking out in regards to him becoming part of Marvel’s Bug’s Life-esque film.
“There is always a lot of rumors around these projects and so far it is still only discussions,” he stated to the Huffington Post France. “I am always very transparent when it comes to my role and my career. I’m usually the first to speak and communicate with my fans if something happens. If you hear nothing from me, they are just rumors.”
Though he has neither denied nor confirmed the role, it does appear there is a chance the rumors are true. Time will tell!
Joseph can currently be seen with Marvel alum, Scarlett Johansson (The Avenger’s Black Widow) in Don Jon; a film he both stars in and directed.
