Glee star, Lea Michelle, has a new “little love” in her life in the form of her new canine companion, Pearl.

“Today I would like to introduce you to Pearl. She’s 8 years old and is my new little love … Welcome Pearl!” Lea introduced her fans to Pearl on Tuesday, sharing a photo on her Twitter page of her adorable new friend.

This isn’t the first time Lea has reached out to help an animal in need. People reported that the actress once saved a litter of kittens found on the Paramount studio lot; she adopted two and found homes for the rest.

Through the trying times Lea has experienced in recent weeks, it’s nice to see this positive “love” entering her life in the form of her cuddly new friend.
