There are few things I love more than seeing celebrities take a stand against Westboro Baptist “Church.”

The newest celebrity to fall victim to the “Church’s” hatred is the affable country crooner, and vocal LGBTQ advocate, Blake Shelton.

Westboro has even gone so far as to threaten to boycott Shelton’s music. How will he ever go on?

Not only have Westboro chastised Shelton for his support of the LGBTQ community, they took a shot at him for allegedly pursuing his now-wife Miranda Lambert while he was still legally wed to his former wife, Kaynette Gern.

Shelton eloquently told TMZ that Westboro could “blow him.”

“The Westboro Baptist Church can blow me. They can blow me. Can you quote me? I think that’s one of the commandments.”

Shelton is just the most recent in a never-ending list of celebrities that WBC takes issue with. Ed Sheeran, Radiohead, One Direction, and the entire cast of Glee have been in their grips in recent months, as well.

Here’s to Blake for fighting the good fight, and shrugging off the haters. After all, I’m not sure Westboro knows how to do anything BUT hate. Seems like an awful and unnecessary expenditure of energy, if you ask me.
