If you’ve been keeping up with New Girl this season then you know that Winston hasn’t been given much to do. He babysat/adopted a cat (which is the most adorable cat in the world) and that’s about it really. But, fret not Winston lover’s because he’s about to get some much needed attention in the way of a new love interest!
Jessica Chaffin has been cast to play Bertie, a no-nonsense bus driver (is there any other kind?) and also Winston’s new love interest. You may know Chaffin from her comedy group, Ronna & Beverly, but she’s also made appearances on 90210, The United States of Tara, Children’s Hospital and 2 Broke Girls.
New Girl has readied itself for November sweeps with all kinds of guest stars. In addition to Chaffin, Jess & co will be welcoming Taye Diggs and the return of Damon Wayans Jr as Coach (take a moment of silence to remember Happy Endings. Never forget).
