Missing Jamie Dornan as Sheriff Graham/the huntsmen ABC’s Once Upon A Time? Look no further. The hunky Irish actor has just joined the cast of the film adaptation of E.L. James’ Fifty Shades of Grey. Yep,Variety reports that Dornan is our new Christian Grey.
The actor who previously appeared in the BBC drama The Fall as well as Sofia Coppola’s Marie Antoinette is also a model. His history as a model will surely do him good in this film considering he will be required to act in explicit sex scenes with his co-star Dakota Johnson who plays Anastasia Steele.
Just last month the film ran into some issues when Charlie Hunman (Sons of Anarchy) had to depart from the project due to scheduling conflicts. from Dakota Johnson co-stars as Anastasia Steele with Sam Taylor-Johnson on board to direct. Following his exit, Variety reports that just last Friday executives had Dornan and Billy Magnussen test with Johnson last Friday.
Michael De Luca will produce the film that is set to hit theaters Aug. 1, 2014.
