Attention East High alums! Prepare for the ride of your lives!
According to multiple outlets, the High School Musical cast will reunite for a very special cause.
Monique Coleman rallied her former castmates to help her raise money for her non-profit organization: GimmeMo’ Foundation. The actress hopes that her organization inspires and empowers youth around the world.
In order to raise money, Coleman asked fans who are interested in attending the event to donate at least $3 to the fundraiser, if selected the lucky winner and a friend will win a trip to Los Angeles for the event.
Coleman’s co-stars Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale, Corbin Bleu, Lucas Grabeel, Kaycee Stroh and Olesya Rulin have confirmed their attendance for the homecoming party. In addition, High School Musical director Kenny Ortega will be also on hand for the festivities.
The only actor that will be missing the event is…ZAC EFRON! While it might be a bummer for hardcore fans, US Weekly reports that the winner will receive a special message from the heartthrob.
