There may be hope for the ABC series Body of Proof. The drama cop series was axed by ABC this past May after three seasons.
This is despite the fact that they had an audience of 11 million viewers.
According to Deadline, ABC is considering the idea of bringing back the series, with a fourth season that would not premiere until early next year. The decision will be made after the network is able to determine which new series will be able to make it past the fall.
Paul Lee, who is the president for ABC explained why Body of Proof was cancelled, saying that the network had “just a very, very strong season in terms of [new series] development”. I would love to see Body of Proof find a good home. I think it’s a great show and I’m a huge fan of Dana Delany.”
Evan Katz, who was the showrunner for Body of Proof’s last season has signed on to do 24: Live Another Day as an executive producer.
