After releasing two delightful little snippets and three different pieces of cover artwork, Lady Gaga debuted her new single, “Venus”, this morning.
As all Little Monsters are aware, this was meant to be the second single from the upcoming album, ARTPOP. However, due to success of the promotional track “Do What U Want” that features R Kelly a week ago, it was promoted in “Venus’” place.
Last night (October 26) Gaga surprised Londoners with an appearance at G-A-Y where she performed the track.
Following the appearance, she took to Twitter saying:
Had an amazing night tonight at G-A-Y in London, after all these years you continue to inspire me. Can't wait for X-Factor tomorrow night!

Gaga will be making a special appearance on tonight’s The X Factor where she will be performing the new track. She had this to say about the performance:
@TheXFactor See you tomorrow! Promise to keep my clothes on. Thanks for the opportunity to perform two songs I rehearsed all night!

“Venus” will be available for download worldwide later today (at 12.01am local time). The new album, ARTPOP, will be released on November 11.
