The film is described on the YouTube channel as “The ultimate X-Men ensemble fights a war for the survival of the species across two time periods in X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST. The beloved characters from the original “X-Men” film trilogy join forces with their younger selves from “X-Men: First Class,” in an epic battle that must change the past — to save our future”.

All our favourite mutants are back, both from the original trilogy as well as that of X-Men: First Class in Bryan Singer’s debut film in the franchise. Among those returning are Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Hugh Jackman, Jennifer Lawrence, Ellen Page, Anna Paquin, Halle Berry and Nicholas Hoult.

X-Men: Days of Future Past opens in the UK on May 22, 2014, with the US release the next day, May 23.
