Susan Boyle continues to set records, this time becoming the only British act to perform posthumously with Elvis Presley.

Boyle’s next single is a rendition of the 1971 song “O Come All Ye Faithful”. Proceeds will be donated to Save the Children, a charity that she is ambassador for, and is also one of her favorite charities.

“Dueting with Elvis was beyond my wildest dreams and now that this is able to raise money and help children it is simply fantastic,” the Britain’s Got Talent singer said. “I remember his music being played in the house when I growing up and I used to love going to see some of his films.”

“I do sometimes feel his presence when I sing the song. I think he would be excited if he heard it and he liked it.”

Boyle revealed that her mentor, music mogul Simon Cowell, came up with the idea for her to duet with the King. Simon contacted Elvis’ widow, Priscilla Presley, to get permission to record the track. Boyle spoke about the Presley family’s blessing, saying, “My dad and my whole family were Elvis fans and she gave me permission.”

The accompanying video, which will be released in black-and-white, shows Elvis dancing alongside Boyle.

“O Come All Ye Faithful” will be featured on Boyle’s upcoming album and is set to be released December 8th.
