Fans of the character Sif in the Thor movies will be excited to know that the character is set to return in a big way. In a short interview Jaimie Alexander revealed that Thor 2: The Dark World, coming out November 8th, will not be her last appearance as the female warrior. Even though she couldn’t give more information, it was enough to get fans excited and most likely launched a few theories. Will she get a movie of her own? Or is she set to return in a third Thor movie? Perhaps the Avengers sequel? Who knows?

Either way, it’s exciting to know for sure it’s not the end of the bad ass warrior.

Sif had a short role in the first Thor movie, as one of the warriors in Asgard who is a friend and sometimes lover of Thor. In the second movie she seems to get more of a role, and we get to see a “softer” and “more vulnerable” side to her, according to Alexander.

When asked if we will get more Sif, Alexander responded with, “Oh yes… But I can’t tell you why, but yes you will.”
