We ended last week with Rayna’s father in jail and the realization her buyout from Edgehill may be on the rocks. This week begins with Rayna giving an interview about the situation and allegations against her father, and dealing with the drama at Edgehill with Jeff.
Avery and Gunner are taking advantage of Juliette’s offer for Avery to use her studio and continue working on their unlikely friendship. Scarlet also is rekindling a friendship with Avery and asks his advice on all the changes happening with her life and career.
Tandy suggests Rayna go to the Belle Meade polo match to rub elbows with some of Nashville’s old money in hopes of finding a new investor for her buyout. Deacon also decides to attend with his new lady love and Juliette also got an unexpected invitation from Charlie Wentworth.
Zoe’s girl code clicks in and she ends things with Gunner (good call).
Tandy gets into it with one of Rayna’s potential new investors who accused her of knowing all her daddies dirty secrets. Rayna asked her if any of it was true, and Tandy of course lied – granted she’s not allowed to discuss anything about the case, but still seems shady…this is gonna come back to haunt her!
Charlie is clearly interested in Juliette, but she isn’t having any of it….not yet anyway. But Scarlet and Avery definitely seem to be making moves toward a potential renewed relationship…kissing in the tree, k-i-s-s-i-n-g!
As Scarlet prepares for her critique show at the Bluebird, she tells Zoe she slept with Avery which may have given Zoe second thoughts about ending things with Gunner. Luke Wheeler is also in attendance and it seems like he may have some intentions outside of music.
Lots of love this week in Nashville as Deacon beds his lawyer, Juliette gives in to gorgeous Charlie Wentworth, Zoe gets Gunner back and Avery and Scarlet agree to take things slow. Oh, and Rayna got a smooch from mister Luke Wheeler himself. Hornyville is about to get busted wide open as Olivia Wentworth walks in on Juliette and her hubby…her face leads us to believe she’s not in the sharing mood.
According to next week’s promo the sex and scandals are set to continue!
