Remember Michelle Tanner’s frenemy Derek Boyd on Full House? Well, little Derek is all grown up and looking super sexy!

Blake McIver who played Derek on the hit show and played Waldo in the 1994 film, The Little Rascals, has taken his talents to a new stage as a dancer; a go go dancer to be exact.

The 28 year old actor, who came out 3 years ago, was struggling with low self-esteem and decided to try dancing on a whim to boost his confidence. In an interview with Rumor Fix Blake said, “I had so much shame about my body. This was a way to express myself that was safe, sensual and fun.” I’m not hiding who I am anymore — not pretending I’m something I’m not.”

The chiseled and dashing McIver says he has worked as a go go boy in Los Angeles for the past year and he’s not embarrassed. “I’m not hiding who I am anymore — not pretending I’m something I’m not.”

The former vocal coach is also a singer/songwriter who has used his top money to finish his debut album. “I Wish I Didn’t Need You” which is due out on November 5^th and Blake says though the inspiration was a lost [gay] love, he hopes to see it go mainstream. “I hope it will have crossover appeal.”
